GTE Big Ride
(May 1998 to June 1998) A really fun site that GTE was sponsoring, and which gave our team a break from all the corporate content. The site included a bulletin board for riders who would be making the cross-country trip, and functionality that both mapped the location of the group and enabled them to log their progress. It was pretty new technology and we discovered the issues involved in offering "chat" to the public... I was involved in all the front-end coding and graphics production.
